MATERIAL & COLOR
The Traxer is available in various colors. All Traxers are available in the modern color Anthracite. You will find more color options in the Traxer 6.6 and 8.6. These models are also available in the colors Pure White and Brilliant Black. The strong and impact-resistant ABS/ASA material of the Anthracite color and the ABS/PMMA material of the Brilliant Black and Pure White colors are extremely UV-resistant, ensuring that your roof box retains its color even under the most extreme conditions.
MOUNTING
Mounting the roof box onto the car’s roof bars is quick and easy thanks to the patented Premium‑Fit quick‑mounting system. This simple system consists of a single, integrated unit, eliminating the need for loose brackets or additional accessories. With a simple turn of the knob, the clamps are activated, gripping the roof bars firmly and securely.
The convenient ‘tight‑is‑tight’ safety system lets you know when the clamps are fully secured with an audible ratchet. Lock it with the push of a button and drive off with confidence.
The system fits perfectly on any type of roof rack with a maximum width of 95 mm. A T-slot adapter is also available for mounting on aluminum roof bars.
LOCKING SYSTEM
The central locking system (two‑ or three‑point, depending on the model length) secures the roof box firmly and completely. You lock the Traxer with a single, simple turn of the key. As an additional safety feature, the key can only be removed once the roof box is correctly closed.
OPENING AND CLOSING
Loading and unloading the Traxer is exceptionally easy thanks to the dual function of the dynamic gas‑spring hinges. The lid opens effortlessly and immediately remains in the optimal position while you load or unload your gear. When closing the roof box, the springs pull the lid down at the final moment, ensuring a perfect seal.
The Traxer 6.6 and 8.6 can be opened on both sides. A convenient feature that ensures optimal ease of use when mounting the roof box and when loading and unloading your luggage.
