This premium towbar box is the solution when you need extra space, but prefer to keep the roof free. Whether there is already a roof tent, surfboard or canoe on it, or you simply do not want a roof box: the Boxer lets you take more with you without compromising on comfort or appearance. Thanks to the smart design, the solid construction, handy tilt function and secure locking, you travel with peace of mind and a sense of freedom.
Innovative tilting system
With a simple foot movement, you can effortlessly tilt the Boxer, giving you direct access to the trunk, even when the towbar box is already loaded. And the innovative two-stage unlocking system ensures maximum safety.
Unique handle
The unique ergonomic handle with opening assist, embedded into the case, makes the Boxer optimal to use. When closing, the handle automatically folds back. Your Boxer is 100% securely locked and you do not need a key to open and close it.

Safety and quality always come first. Hapro towbar cases are therefore always thoroughly tested and meet the strictest quality requirements: ISO, City Crash Test, TÜV and XPR18904-4

The platform is equipped with integrated license plate lighting, brake lights, indicators and fog lights.
Boxer Platform
Safe and reliable
Mounting the Boxer platform is a piece of cake thanks to the Premium-Grip quickmount system. The carrier is instantly secured in place by pushing the lever down. The red knob provides an adjustment option that accommodates tolerances on towbar dimensions and allows the platform to be optimally attached. The green accent and reference stripes on the protective cover indicate whether the platform is safely and securely attached.
The platform not only has brake lights, indicators and a reversing light, but also a fog light. The lighting integrated into the platform ensures good visibility during the day, in the dark, in rain and fog – safety first! When storing the platform, the lighting modules can be folded inwards for compact, safe storage. Sustainable, safe and well thought-out.
Maximum safety
Hapro towbar boxes are more than just a good-looking addition to your car. Before we introduce a new towbar box, it is subjected to a series of tests under the most extreme conditions. City crash tests, stability tests, vibration, water, and wind tunnel tests: nothing is left to chance. All our roof and towbar boxes passed all tests with flying colors and are therefore TÜV certified. So you can hit the road with peace of mind!

As an accessory for the Hapro Boxer, we offer a specially developed mounting kit for attaching a warning sign. This kit is intended for use in countries such as Italy, Spain, and Portugal, where it is legally required to attach a warning sign for overhanging loads to the towbar box.
